Mark Hosie, a firefighter with Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company in Reeders, explains the varieties of Christmas trees on sale Saturday. The proceeds from the annual Christmas tree sale support the company. This year the fire company is offering regionally grown Fraser and Douglas firs, which can be purchased on weekends between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the fire station in Reeders. The Stroud Township Volunteer Fire Company is also selling Christmast trees at its Arlington Station near the Stroud Mall from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Keith R. Stevenson/Pocono Record
