We all know it is the responsibility of the police to enforce the traffic laws. However when someone has a car accident we the fire company are also dispatched. Not all of the accidents require us but a good portion does. It doesn’t have to be you, it can be the other driver that you have to worry about. Accidents are like fires they don’t care about age, color, gender, or race. It seems these days we are always in a rush to get somewhere. Maybe we should try leaving a little earlier or plan our driving route out. If you don’t show up to where you are going that is not helping you or the people you were to met. We know there are tones of data saying and showing the same things out there. Just a friendly reminder on the things we should or should not be doing while driving. If your not around who will help support the volunteer fire company. Just a little humor.
Texting has become a very large problem with the increase in technology. However we have to remember the basics. Taking your eyes off the road for just two seconds can be devastating. It takes longer then two seconds to read and answer a text message. Oh I forgot to mention plus taking your hand or hands off the wheel.
