Burning Times and Conditions:Exceptions

A. Outdoor burning may be kindled or maintained during the following days and times:

Monday through Friday………………………………….9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saturday……………………………………………………..9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday……………………………………………………….Not Permitted
Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th………………….Not Permitted

B. Open burning of leaves and / or brush on private lands with consent of the landowner or person in charge of the property is permitted during the following times:

Monday through Saturday………………………………6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday…………………………………………………………Not Permitted

Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th………………….Not Permitted

All fires must be attended to at all times by a responsible adult with a readily available means of extinguishing the fire. No fire shall be started or maintained unless cinfined withi a noncombustible container covered with a noncombustible mesh screen having one (1) inch or smaller mesh.

C. Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit the use of family-size outdoor barbeque equipment for household cooking purposes when any flame is properly confined, supervised and extinguished.

Burning of the following items is prohibited: Plastic containers and plastics of any kind, diapers, styrofoams of any kind, tires and rubber of any kind.
