Rental Hall

Hall rentals

The Fire Company has opened up renting out the fire hall for to the general public. This would be for baby showers, birthday parties, wedding receptions, etc.

Before you make your request for renting the hall. You can check to see if the date is available by checking the calendar on our website. Go to www.jtvfc27.com and then click on the Events Calendar tab on the left side of the page. Review the calendar for open dates. If the date you are looking at list an event or says Hall Booked then the day is unavailable. Even when you mail your request in the date could be taken but it will give you an idea.

General information

  • You can bring your own food or have your event catered.
  • The fire hall holds up to 200 occupants.
  • There are 38, 6 foot tables for use. (Six chairs to a table give individual spacing). However you can fit eight chairs to a table.
  • There are 200 metal folding chairs for use.
  • Fire Hall is HVAC controlled.
  • There are two bathrooms connected to the fire hall to left of the kitchen.
  • Parking lot is to the right of the fire hall
  • Handicap parking in front of the fire hall.
  • Handicap accessible ramp in front of the fire hall by the sign.
  • Second handicap ramp at other end of the fire hall.
  • Stage at one end of fire hall for use of a DJ, etc.
  • Podium on stage if needed.
  • American Flag, State Flag and Firefighter Flag on stage.
  • Trash dumpster to right and behind fire house for you to remove all your trash from the event.
  • The fire house property both inside and out are monitored 24 hours a day by security cameras.
  • Access to the lower part of the fire house and apparatus is strictly restricted for insurance purposes.
  • There is no removing of Fire Company items from the walls.
  • More information is listed in the contract.
  • Baby showers and birthday parties are $50.00 per hour. Minimum of four (4) hours. This includes setup and clean up.
  • Wedding receptions and anniversary parties are $100.00 per hour. Minimum of four (4) hours.
  • A deposit of $200.00 is required. The first $100.00 of the deposit is non-refundable and the second $100.00 is non-refundable if the hall is not cleaned as per instructions.
  • Any alcohol served at your event, you the renter of the fire hall must purchase a rider insurance policy to cover the day of the event. Copy of said policy must also be provided to the fire company with signed contract.
  • With the renting of the fire hall and these prices, it also covers access and use of the ice machine, refrigerator and counter tops ONLY in the kitchen. The use of the stoves or convection oven is off limits.

We also rent out the fire hall to other non-profit originations and will be priced accordingly.

Local non-profit (Boy Scouts, schools, etc. and to be determined by the Board of Trustees) would be $250.00 for an eight (8) hour day.

Outside Monroe County non-profit (to be determined by the Board of Trustees) would be $500.00 for an eight (8) hour day.

A deposit of $200.00 is required. The first $100.00 of the deposit is non-refundable and the second $100.00 is non-refundable if the hall is not cleaned as per instructions.

Note for Bingo rentals:

For Bingo, callers from the fire house are required to run the bingo machine and will cost $100.00 for the bingo event.

All requests for renting the fire hall must be in writing and should include the following information:

What type of event the hall is being used for.
Who will be the responsible person with contact information (cell phone).
Dates (provide two) in case one has already been booked and times.
The letter should be mailed three months prior to the first Monday of the month before you need the hall and mailed to the following address. This is when the Board of Trustees meet and will review your request. Dates fill up quickly with Fire Company events and outside events.

The Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company reserves the right to update, change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the terms or any policy or guideline of the Fire Hall, at any time and in our sole discretion. Any changes or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions. We also reserve the right to not rent out the Fire Hall should the event have any type of negative impact on the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company.
